Christmas is here! This year has been quite the journey. It is crazy to think that a New Year is just around the corner. As you unwrap presents and spend time with your loved ones, don’t forget about all the money you could be making on these NBA games! I am here to give you my picks and predictions for each NBA game that I hope will make us all rich. Let’s hop right into it!
Pelicans at Heat (-4.5), O/U: 224.5
The reigning Eastern Conference Champs are back in action. They started their season on a sour note with a loss in Orlando. They aren’t going to let the Pelicans beat them at home. Despite no fans in attendance, the Heat play much better at home. They will bounce back and take care of this young Pelicans team led by Zion Williamson. I believe Zion has a poor game due to the length that the Heat have on defense. Read more about that in my NBA Player Props article linked here: https://www.callingourshot.com/2020/12/24/nba-player-props-december-25/
Warriors at Bucks (-10), O/U: 232.5
Both teams opened their season with a loss. The Bucks lost by 1 to the Celtics. The Warriors lost by 100 to the Nets. The Warriors won’t be good this year. They won’t be able to guard Giannis as the Bucks blow out the Warriors. You feel bad for Stephen Curry, but this just isn’t the Warriors year.
Nets (-3) at Celtics, O/U: 228
This game could go either way. I am going to lean on Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving getting the job done on Christmas. Both teams are very talented, and I look forward to watching this matchup for the rest of the year, but the Brooklyn Nets bring home the win for their squad. Nets-3 is the way to go in this one.
Mavericks at Lakers (-5.5), O/U: 227.5
Pick: Lakers -5.5
I am a big Luka fan, but he has to carry the load on offense and it won’t be enough against the defending champs. The Mavericks will hang around but LeBron won’t let his Lakers start 0-2. In the end, the Lakers are the more complete team. LeBron has some more records to break. If he scores 35 points, he will become the NBA’s All Time Leading Scorer on Christmas Day.
Clippers (-2.5) at Nuggets, O/U: 224
The Clippers are treating every game like the NBA Finals, and that won’t stop here. They are trying to get some revenge on the Nuggets who they blew a 3-1 lead to in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. The Nuggets are coming off a loss to the Kings in Overtime. You don’t get any respect from me after that performance. You have to earn my respect, and the Clippers did just that with their opening night win over the Lakers. Give me the Clippers to cover easily.
I know, it is not bold to pick all the favorites to cover but those are just the teams playing better. Vegas is not calibrated yet, so we must take advantage while we can.
Those are my NBA Christmas Betting Picks! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
