NBA DFS 12/28: The Perfect Lineup To Play

NBA DFS for December 28th. This is my daily article giving you my favorite lineup to play on NBA DFS (Daily Fantasy) on FanDuel specifically. If you use any other platform, feel free to try to copy mine to there. I try to pick my favorite value plays, which is one of the most important ways to cash out big when you are playing in tournament settings.

Let’s get into my perfect lineup for December 28th!

Point Guards:

Trae Young ($9800): Trae has started his season off in a big way with back to back 50 point performances. He isn’t going to stop anytime soon with a Pistons squad rolling into town. I picked Trae’s over in my player props article (check that out here as well as my other picks), so I am going to spend up to bring him onto my team.

Damian Lillard ($9400): Based upon lineup constraints, I am going for Dame Time tonight. He always plays well against the Lakers and this will be no different. The difference between him and Trae tonight will be minimal but I needed to save the $400 to spend up later.

Ja Morant ($8500): We are spending up big on point guards with two of the most expensive on the slate. Morant is averagin 55.5 FPPG through two games. He’s going to have to carry this Grizzlies team the whole year. They are facing off against the Nets, who I think will pose a good challenge to Morant. The Nets are one of the best teams out East. Morant knows what he has to do and he will have a big game doing just that.

Shooting Guards:

James Harden ($11500): Harden dropped 73.3 FP in his debut. He’s going to play a lot of minute because they are down John Wall, Eric Gordon and DeMarcus Cousins right now. The offense flows through Harden which means we need him in the lineup even though his price is ridiculously high. The Rockets also need Harden to play as well as possible to fetch the biggest return. Harden will turn in another ridiculous stat-line against the Nuggets.

Dillon Brooks ($3700): Why is his price so low? This is an NBA starting shooting guard playing 30+ minutes a game. He’s not just a ‘scorer’ and that’s it. Brooks gets rebounds, assists and plays hard defense resulting in steals and blocks. Brooks is one of the best value plays out there tonight and he makes my lineup.

Small Forwards:

Caris LeVert ($6300): You should also bet his player prop over 24.5 points. Caris is a legend and a must have in all lineups. With Durant and Irving both resting tonight, and Dinwiddie injured, Caris will be called upon to carry this offense and he will do just that. The man is a walking bucket.

Jerami Grant ($5700): The Pistons will be without Blake Griffin tonight, meaning more minutes for their SFs and PFs. Grant is going to play a lot and the offense will run through him. I think he can easily get us 30 fantasy points and that is good enough to bring back great value for his price.

Kyle Anderson ($4600): This is my 3rd and final Grizzlies player, but it’s hard to ignore the price. Averaging 32.15 FPPG through 2 games, his price is surely to increase if he has another good game. Similar to Brooks, Anderson plays more than 30 minutes a game. Slo-Mo is going to have a good game tonight and I need him in the lineup.

Power Forwards:

Sekou Doumbouya ($3500): Sekou is the person I needed to have since I went so expensive earlier. With Blake Griffin out, more minutes will be open to Sekou. All I am asking is for 15 fantasy points. If he gets us 25-30 (which he is capable of ), then he will be a tournament winner.

Christian Wood ($8100): His price jumped drastically from $6700 after his dominant 31 point outing. Like I said, the Rockets are shorthanded. These guys have to play a lot of minutes, and Wood is their second leading scorer…easily. Wood turns in another great outing as he continues his campaign for Most Improved Player.

PJ Tucker ($4200): I was between him or Enes Kanter as my NBA DFS Center Option. I lean towards Tucker. He will play more minutes and I am hoping he can get me a couple steals or blocks, whereas Kanter is only going to get Points and Rebounds and that is it.

PG: Damian Lillard ($9400), Ja Morant ($8500)

SG: James Harden ($11500), Dillon Brooks ($3700)

SF: Caris LeVert ($6300), Kyle Anderson ($4600)

PF: Christian Wood ($8100), Sekou Doumbouya ($3500)

C: PJ Tucker ($4300)

That’s my NBA DFS option. Let me know on Twitter @CallingOurShot if you think I should have a different player in my lineup.

Good luck if you’re riding with some of my plays!
