7:40 Tipoff
Hawks vs Nets (-7), O/U: 238.5
Pick: Hawks+7
One of the only remaining undefeated teams, the Hawks will keep this game close. Trae Young is playing like an MVP candidate, and I am expecting him to show up. The Nets will have to get used to playing without Dinwiddie. The Hawks were my surprise team to start the year, and I believe they will surprise more people tonight with a good showing against the Nets. They might even win outright but I’ll take Hawks+7.
8:40 Tipoff:
Lakers (-5.5) at Spurs, O/U: 229.5
Pick: Lakers-5.5
The Lakers are 2-2 and not about to drop below 500. The Spurs will keep this game close until the 4th quarter. The Spurs just can’t guard LeBron or Anthony Davis for a full 48 minutes. Not to mention it is also LeBron’s Birthday so I am sure he has a good game. Take the Lakers and the points as they should win this game by double digits.
And that’ll do it. I usually have 3 plays, but tonight’s slate is a small one with only 5 games. I don’t want to force any bets. If I were, I would pick Blazers+3.5 because I don’t know what version of the Clippers we get tonight but I am going to stay away and save my money for another day.
