NBA Player Props are back for January 7th!
This is my daily article breaking down the 3 best player props to bet each and every night of the NBA season. I’ll keep track of my record as the season progresses. Please check us out on Twitter @CallingOurShot for recaps and live updates.
Note: I am using the lines set by FanDuel Sportsbook. Also, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I am not responsible for any loss of money, or broken items in rage, we’ve all been there.
Season Recap: 28-17
Back to the winning ways last night with a 2-1 performance. So close to a sweep, but we still take a profitable night. We are winning on over 60% of our player props bets. But, as we all know, consistency is key. So let’s keep the train rolling. NBA Player Props have been making us money all year and I don’t plan on stopping now.
Let’s get into it!
Nikola Jokic Over 42.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-111) vs. Mavericks
Nikola Jokic is my frontrunner for MVP right now. He is putting up absurd statistics, and we are going to ride the hot hand with a shorthanded Mavericks team. He has cashed this over in 6 of 7 games this year (the only game being one that he was in foul trouble). Jokic should hit this over with ease. Lock it in!
Luka Doncic Over 47.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-113) vs. Nuggets
Luka Doncic is back. We picked his under earlier this year on this same bet, but now he has turned it around. He is back to his stat padding with his double digit rebounds which make this high number achievable. Trey Burke will miss this game putting even more of the scoring burden on Doncic’s shoulders. The Nuggets don’t have an elite defending wing that can matchup with Doncic. Luka is the bet tonight on a very limited slate of games. A Same Game Parlay Opportunity too!
Joel Embiid Over 25.5 points (-120) vs. Nets
Embiid got out of his slump last night with 38 points! He will keep it moving against the Nets tonight and here’s why: the worst thing that can happen when you pick Embiid’s over is that when he gets the ball in the post, they double him. That won’t be the case tonight. The Nets will let Jarrett Allen or DeAndre Jordan guard him 1 on 1 and that’s a straight mismatch. If Embiid can get his usual 15-20 shots, he should hit this over with ease tonight.
Those are my 3 favorite NBA player props to bet on January 6th. Here’s to hoping we bank together!
