NBA Player Props are back for January 8th!
This is my daily article breaking down the 3 best player props to bet each and every night of the NBA season. I’ll keep track of my record as the season progresses. Please check us out on Twitter @CallingOurShot for recaps and live updates.
Note: I am using the lines set by FanDuel Sportsbook. Also, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I am not responsible for any loss of money, or broken items in rage, we’ve all been there.
Season Recap: 30-18
Back to back 2-1 nights, looking for the 3-0 sweep tonight. We are winning on over 60% of our player props bets. But, as we all know, consistency is key. So let’s keep the train rolling. NBA Player Props have been making us money all year and I don’t plan on stopping now.
Let’s get into it!
Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 27.5 Points (-118) vs. Jazz
This marks the first time this year I have touched a Giannis Player Prop and I’m happy to be doing so. The two time MVP is ‘only’ averaging 26 points a game (his worst scoring average since 2016. Well, he ups the scoring average tonight. Giannis scored 30 and 50 points in his two games against the Jazz last year and I expect him to keep that scoring up. The Jazz don’t have a single defender that can get near the athleticism of Giannis, and Gobert doesn’t scare me camping in the paint. Giannis will easily hit 30 points and cash this player prop.
Jerami Grant Over 19.5 Points (-116) vs. Suns
We are back again. Jerami Grant has scored 20+ in 7 straight games, and we are riding this train until it let’s us down. Grant is all the Pistons have. He is going to take 20 shots a game, and I am will take my chances on him getting 20 points. By the end of the season, or even in a couple games, this prop will be at 22.5-24.5. Take advantage of it now while you still can. Lock it in!
Coby White Over 18.5 Points (-116) vs. Lakers
Coby White was a favorite to win Most Improved Player this season, and I can see why. After starting the season cold, Coby has turned it around scoring 20+ points in 3 straight. I am counting on him to make it 4 straight. The Lakers defense doesn’t scare me. Coby White is going to get his shots up and I think they will fall tonight. Coby in Staples Center, doesn’t get better than that. Let’s ride!
