NBA Player Props are back for January 12th!
This is my daily article breaking down the 4 best player props to bet each and every night of the NBA season. I’ll keep track of my record as the season progresses. Please check us out on Twitter @CallingOurShot for recaps and live updates.
Note: I am using the lines set by FanDuel Sportsbook. Also, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I am not responsible for any loss of money, or broken items in rage, we’ve all been there.
Season Recap: 39-22
With 5 straight 2-1 nights, we went up to 4 plays yesterday and went 3-1. 13-6 in our last 19 player props. Unreal consistency, but we long for the sweep. Let’s make it happen. We are winning on over 60% of our player props bets. So let’s keep the train rolling. NBA Player Props have been making us money all year and I don’t plan on stopping now.
Let’s get into it!
Kevin Durant Over 29.5 Points (-120) vs. Nuggets
Durant is back! After being out due to the health and safety protocols, this will be Durant’s second game back against the Nuggets. Without Kyrie Irving, Durant is asked to carry the offensive load a little more. He just scored 36 points on Sunday without Irving. Already averaging 29 points on the year, a couple extra shots should get him over the 30 point mark like it did Sunday. The Nuggets don’t have a wing that can matchup well with Durant. Lock in Durant’s over!
Donovan Mitchell Over 23.5 Points (-118) vs. Cavaliers
Last year, I was probably 0-10 betting on Donovan Mitchell so tread lightly. Mitchell has hit this over in 3 of his last 4 games. He is playing more minutes and being more aggressive. After a slow start to the season, it looks like the coaching staff told him he needs to be more aggressive and not wait around for Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic or Royce O’Neale to chuck up shots. I’ll take Spida’s over tonight. Don’t make me regret it.
Those are my 2 favorite NBA player props to bet on January 12th. Here’s to hoping we bank together!
