NBA Player Props for January 17th are here!
This is my daily article breaking down the 3 best player props to bet each and every night of the NBA season. I’ll keep track of my record as the season progresses. Please check us out on Twitter @CallingOurShot for recaps and live updates.
Note: I am using the lines set by FanDuel Sportsbook. Also, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I am not responsible for any loss of money, or broken items in rage… we’ve all been there.
Season Record: 47-28
We are winning on over 60% of our player props bets. So let’s keep the train rolling. NBA Player Props have been making us money all year and I don’t plan on stopping now.
Let’s get into it!
Zach LaVine Over 25.5 Points (-122) vs. Mavericks
LaVine has been on a mission recently. Although it hasn’t translated to wins, 32+ points in 4 straight games. He is playing a lot of minutes and getting up a lot of shots. Against the Mavericks, he will have to do the same to keep them in this game. This line will likely increase to 26.5, maybe higher, but LaVine should easily be able to hit that as he goes for 30+ in his 5th straight game, and 6th out of last 7th.
Zion Williamson Over 22.5 Points (-110) vs. Kings
Zion has been taking more shots in the past 4 games than he ever has. 17+ shot attempts in 4 straight, and now he gets to match up against the Sacramento Kings, who boast the worst defense in the NBA. Let Zion eat! The Kings won’t be able to stop Zion from scoring 25+. Lock it in.
Donovan Mitchell Over 23.5 Points (-116) vs. Nuggets
Donovan Mitchell has hit this over in 4 straight games, but that’s not the reason we are taking it. Mitchell lit up the scoreboard against the Nuggets in the Bubble Playoffs, but they still blew the 3-1 lead. That won’t sit well today for Donovan. He wants to get back at these Nuggets and this game is a little more personal than any other regular season game. Take Mitchell’s over as he is in attack mode against a Nuggets team without an elite perimeter defender.
