NBA Player Props for Wednesday, January 20th are here!
This is my daily article breaking down the 5 best player props to bet each and every night of the NBA season. I’ll keep track of my record as the season progresses. Please check us out on Twitter @CallingOurShot for recaps and live updates.
Note: I am using the lines set by FanDuel Sportsbook. Also, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I am not responsible for any loss of money, or broken items in rage… we’ve all been there.
Season Record: 52-33
We are winning on over 60% of our player props bets. Let’s keep the train rolling. NBA Player Props have been making us money all year and I don’t plan on stopping now.
Let’s get into it!
Jerami Grant Over 22.5 Points (-120) vs. Hawks
Jerami Grant is having an All Star season. If the Pistons were a little better, he would be a lock for the All Star team. Sadly, the Pistons are still bad. But, Jerami Grant is making the most of it and scoring with the best of em in the league. Averaging 25 points per game, Jerami is getting up over 18 shots a game. He scored 27 points against this very Hawks team last time they played a couple weeks ago. I expect Jerami to feast again and easily cash his over!
Luka Doncic Over 49.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-111) vs. Pacers
Luka was not great last game, only 15 pts, 7 rebs, 9 assts. I don’t expect that to happen twice. He will fill up the stat sheet against this Pacers team. 50 combined PRAs is a lot to ask for, but Luka does it all for this team. The Pacers big men all stretch the floor leaving plenty of rebounds for Luka to grab and continue to pad his stats. Let’s do this Luka!
Bam Adebayo Over 19.5 Points (-110) vs. Raptors
Bam Adebayo has been quietly good scoring this basketball this year. Averaging a career high 19.5 points per game, he will play this game as a focal point of the Heat offense with Jimmy Butler still out. As the focal point of the offense, Bam has dropped 28 points in back to back games (albeit against the Pistons). Adebayo should easily be able to get us to 20 points against this Raptors frontcourt.
Clint Capela Over 28.5 Points+Rebounds (-122) vs. Pistons
The Pistons just gave up 28 points on back to back nights to Bam Adebayo. Clint Capela and Trae Young have developed a nice connections. Over the last two games, Capela has played over 35 minutes and returned games of: 25 points and 15 rebounds, and 23 points and 15 rebounds. Capela will continue his hot streak against this Pistons team that struggles against opposing centers. I like all of Capela’s overs tonight, but I will stick to Points and Rebounds combined as that is the safest option.
Malik Beasley Over 19.5 Points (-106) vs. Magic
The analysis was right for Malik Beasley a couple nights ago, he just went 5/17 with only 15 points. That’s what happens when you bet on players like Malik Beasley. Tonight, against the Magic, he will yet again get his shots up. The Magic give up nearly 24 points per game to opposing shooting guards. Beasley has plenty of shots to take and make, just hoping they drop tonight. If he gets his normal shot attempts (17+), he should be able to hit 20 points, at least I’d hope so!
