NBA Player Props for Friday, February 5th!
This is my daily article. We breakdown my 3 favorite props each and every night. Tonight, we have our NBA Player Props for Thursday. Basketball is great because it gives me the ability to bet each and every night, responsibly of course. I’ll keep track of my record as the season progresses. Please check us out on Twitter @CallingOurShot for recaps and live updates.
Season Record: 77-59
Unfortunate last couple days for us. If you want to fade these props, go for it. It has been a rough stretch culminated by an 0-3 performance last night. All of these bets are one’s I would make again. The reasoning and analysis is there, just need to start hitting them. Let’s get back into the winning column. NBA Player Props have been making us money all year and I don’t plan on stopping now.
Let’s hop into it!
Norm Powell Over 18.5 Points (-110) vs. Nets
Since OG Anunoby has been out, Norm Powell has been making use of the extra minutes. He has scored 20+ points in 5 straight games, attempting over 16 shots per game. Also, they are playing the Brooklyn Nets, a team that is allergic to playing defense. Continuing, Norm Powell will be the least of the Nets worries as they focus on VanVleet (fresh off 54 points), Siakam and Lowry. Norm Powell should continue his 20 point streak tonight against Brooklyn. Also, did I mention the Over/Under is 242.5 points? Yeah, I am locking in Norm’s over tonight because he will fill it up against Joe Harris who will likely guard him.
Jimmy Butler Over 34.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts (-120) vs. Wizards
This feels like stealing money. Since returning from a 3 week absence, Jimmy has been filling it up. Jimmy Butler has easily hit this over, including last game when he only shot 11 times but racked up 36 PRAs. Also, if this line moves, I still like it. 36 is the least he has had in his 3 games back. His previous two games: 40 PRAs and 45 PRAs. Also, if you missed it, Jimmy Butler didn’t talk in his press conference after their loss to the Wizards. Jimmy isn’t a player to mess with. Lock in this over all the way up to 39.5. If I wasn’t clear enough, Jimmy is going off tonight. BOOK IT!
Kevin Durant Over 27.5 Points (-108) vs. Raptors
We are back to betting Durant tonight. It’s hard to pick players in other games when you have an Over/Under as high as 242.5. Vegas is expecting a lot of points, and that’s what they are going to get! During this season, Durant is averaging 30.8 PPG. Also, he has hit this over in 14 of 17 games, including 7 of his last 8. If that wasn’t enough, the last time we saw Durant play the Raptors was in 2018-2019. In those 2 games (minus the one he got injured in the first quarter), he had 51 points and 30 points. Also, if you weren’t convinced by now, the Raptors give up the 6th most points to opposing Power Forwards (where Durant plays). As a result, of all of this, I am taking Durant’s over tonight. I’m in!
