NBA DFS February 12th: The Perfect Lineup To Play

NBA DFS for February 12th

This is my daily article giving you my favorite lineup to play in NBA DFS (Daily Fantasy) on FanDuel specifically. If you use any other platform, feel free to try to copy mine to there. I try to pick my favorite value plays, which is one of the most important ways to cash out big when you are playing in tournament settings.

Let’s get into my perfect lineup for February 12th!

Point Guards:

De’Aaron Fox ($8900): Fox is playing the best basketball of his career. If you read our NBA Player Props article, you already know we are high on him tonight. The Magic for (1) have no healthy guards and (2) have no rim protection to stop Fox in the lane. The Magic also give up over 50 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing point guards. Fox is a must-have in all lineups.

Hamidou Diallo ($7000): If you are new to DFS, this price seems high for a player like Hamidou Diallo but it’s an accurate representation of how good he has been. He will start again tonight at Point Guard to replace Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He’s had 42+ FPPG in his last two games which is great value. The Nuggets also give up the 7th most FPPG to opposing guards. Locking in Hamidou into all of my lineups.

Shooting Guards:

Donovan Mitchell ($8300): Here’s another one of our NBA Player Props that I am double dipping in for NBA DFS. With Mike Conley out again, Mitchell becomes more of a ball handler. The Bucks will again be without Jrue Holiday, their best perimeter defender. In the past two games without Mike Conley, Mitchell has put up 51.1 FP and 61.3 FP. I expect that trend to continue tonight with a big all around performance from Spida.

Kevin Huerter ($5300): Huerter doesn’t have a terrific lineup against the Spurs, but I am riding the hot hand. Huerter has played 33+ minutes, and has scored 15+ points in 4 straight games. The Spurs will key in on stopping Trae Young and John Collins while forcing someone else to beat them. That person will be Huerter who is also shooting it much more than he ever has.

Small Forwards:

Miles Bridges ($5200): LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges continue to show a good connection. Bridges is filling up the stat sheet. This should be a high scoring game against the Timberwolves, who do not boast a great second unit. Miles has had 30+ FP in 4 of his past 5 games which is all we can ask for. He’s a good value play for tonight.

Josh Hart ($4600): In what projects to be a very high scoring game, Josh Hart will play a key role on the Pelicans second unit. A couple nights ago, we saw Hart put up 20 points, 17 rebounds for a total of 51.9 fantasy points. While I am not expecting that tonight, what I am expecting is a cool 20-30 FP’s. Hart fills up the stat sheet with points, rebounds and assists. He’s a relatively safe option at the SF position. Given how much we are spending elsewhere, I had to save some money here, which is why I turned to Hart.

Power Forwards:

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11000): Spending up big time for Giannis tonight and it’s for good reason. Giannis is fresh off a 47 point outing against the Suns. He is being much more aggressive with Jrue Holiday still out. The last time Giannis played the Jazz, he dropped 50 on them. That’s also why he’s one of the NBA Player Props I am betting on tonight (see those below). The Greek Freak costs a lot but he will be worth it when it’s all said and done.

Chuma Okeke ($4800): Chuma Okeke has impressed me recently. He has been thrust into playing team due to a depleted Magic roster. Okeke won’t set the world on fire. He’s a value play for a reason. He has 20+ FP in 3 straight and if he can crack 25-30 points tonight, he puts us in a good spot to make some money.

Brook Lopez ($4700): Saving money here with with Mr. 20 FPPG Brook Lopez. He’s scored 20+ points in each of his last 5 games, but has yet to crack 30. Tonight, against the Jazz, Brook will get as many open shots as he wants. Rudy Gobert, by law, cannot leave the paint, and thus leaving Brook open to launch 3s. Will he make them? That’s the big question to ask. Locking in Lopez as our starting Center tonight!

That’s my NBA DFS Perfect Lineup for tonight. Let me know on Twitter @CallingOurShot if you think I should have a different player in my lineup.

Good luck if you’re riding with some of my plays! Check out our NBA Player Props to bet on tonight below!
