NBA DFS February 14th: Let This Lineup Be Your Valentine

NBA DFS for February 14th

This is my daily article giving you my favorite lineup to play in NBA DFS (Daily Fantasy) on FanDuel specifically. If you use any other platform, feel free to try to copy mine to there. I try to pick my favorite value plays, which is one of the most important ways to cash out big when you are playing in tournament settings.

Let’s get into my perfect lineup for February 14th! We post daily NBA player props and spread bets that we like everyday. Find those linked below as well as on our ‘NBA Betting’ Tab on our website. Let’s get into some DFS value plays!

Point Guards:

Luka Doncic ($11300): Luka is the most expensive player on the slate, and it’s for good reason. He’s a DFS legend. He’s fresh off a 76.6 FP outing against the Pelicans. Now he’s matched up against a Blazers team that is among the worst at defending opposing point guards. They give up over 28 PPG (the most in the league) to opposing point guards. We will have to pay up for Luka, but it’ll be worth it.

Tyrese Haliburton ($6100): If De’Aaron Fox is out tonight, then Tyrese should be in all lineups, however, I still want him regardless. He’s as consistent as they come. Haliburton has 25+ fantasy points in 8 straight games. He’s been one of the best rookies in the league. The matchup against the Grizzlies doesn’t scare me. Tyrese Haliburton is a do-it-all kind of player and that bodes very well for him in DFS.

Shooting Guards:

Gary Trent Jr. ($5800): Since CJ McCollum went down with an injury, Gary Trent Jr. has been forced into more minutes and he’s making the most of them. This is a good matchup against a poor defensive team in Dallas. The Blazers will need to keep scoring to keep up with the Mavs. Gary has had 25+ FP in 6 straight, with 30+ FP in 5 of those games.

Terrence Ross ($5200): Vucevic can’t shoot every shot? Right? The depleted Magic need to find ways to score points to beat teams and Terrence Ross is their second option. He’s played over 30+ minutes in 3 straight games and has returned over 30 FP in all 3. That would be great value if he can make it 4 straight against the Phoenix Suns.

Small Forwards:

Kyle Anderson ($5900): Slo-Mo! Riding the hot hand here again. The Kings don’t play much defense. Anderson has had over 30 FP in 4 straight games. The Kings will hone in on stopping Ja Morant or Dillon Brooks, leaving some easy buckets for Kyle.

Saddiq Bey ($4500): Two days late on this one…well technically, I was one day early as I picked him in DFS on February 11th. Bey had his best career game with 30 points and 12 rebounds against the Celtics. What are the Pistons going to do? Play him less minutes…well actually that’s a possibility. Dwane Casey makes no sense. It’s Valentine’s Day though and if you are single and don’t have a bae, don’t you worry. Now you have a Bey; Saddiq that is. I’ll see myself out.

Power Forwards:

Zion Williamson ($8300): Zion is a living legend. He just dropped 36 points on 14/15 shooting and he’s not even the Pelicans primary scoring option…one day I hope that changes because he’s incredibly fun to watch. Now, they matchup against the Pistons. The Pistons have no interior defense with Blake Griffin, Mason Plumlee (who both might miss the game), and whoever else they have. I am locking in Zion. He also coincidentally is one of my NBA player props that I will be betting on tomorrow. Check that article out below!

Kyle Kuzma ($5800):  Kuzma has had the best 3 game streak of his career, not just stats wise, but how he is playing. He’s really come around as a player. 30+ FP in 3 straight games. If he can get to that again, he will be great value at the PF position. Against the Nuggets who don’t have a great bench…I am betting that he continues his great streak.

Jonas Valanciunas ($7100): I sense that Jonas will be in a lot of lineups today. You either spend over $9500 for Towns, Vucevic or Jokic, or you have to settle for someone in the $6000-7000 range, which is where you will find Jonas. Jonas has had 34+ fantasy points (FP) in 4 straight games. Richaun Holmes tends to give up big games to opposing centers. He just let Vucevic torch him for 42 actual points and 64 FP. Valanciunas likely won’t do that, but he’s good enough to get us 40+ FP tonight. He will round out our NBA DFS lineup for Sunday.

That’s my NBA DFS Perfect Lineup for tonight. Let me know on Twitter @CallingOurShot if you think I should have a different player in my lineup.

Good luck if you’re riding with some of my plays! Check out our  NBA Player Props to bet on tonight below!
