NBA Best Bets Season Record: 174-148

Stephen Curry Over 30.5 Points (-118) vs. Blazers

On his career against Lillard, Curry has averaged 31.2 PPG across 22 contests. Also worth noting that the Blazers give up over 27 PPG to opposing point guards (the 2nd most in the league) and the Warriors are coming off a big beat down by the Lakers. They should play with more heart tonight and it starts with Curry.

Norm Powell Over 22.5 Points (-112) vs. Pistons

If the game happens, I love Norm Powell’s over. Powell should be able to get us 25 easily with Pascal, Vanvleet, Anunoby and others out tonight against the Pistons. Hit this in 4 of 6 games. He’s had 23+ points 11 times this year so it’s not a number he’s not used to hitting. Powell is averaging 18 PPG and will get the chance to hoist up a lot of shots tonight.

Jarrett Allen Under 15.5 Points (-116) vs. Pacers

I watched Allen play a couple nights ago when we bet on him and he just doesn’t touch the ball. He hasn’t hit this number in 3 of 4 games, and the only time he ever does hit it, is because he’s playing against a team with no interior defense like the Rockets, Thunder, Nuggets or Blazers. The Pacers have Myles Turner who can fend off Allen’s shots. Plus Allen isn’t going to shoot more than 10 or 11 times at best. I take the under.

7:10PM: Jazz (-3) at Sixers, O/U: 227.5

Pick: Sixers+3

Over the last 3 years, the Sixers are 8-1 ATS as a home underdog (where they find themselves tonight). The Jazz have cooled off slightly after their hot start. Embiid will be a problem, so will Simmons. I like the Sixers to upset the Jazz tonight at home.

7:40 PM: Nets (-9.5) at Rockets, O/U: 226.5

Pick: Nets-9.5

This will be a public dominated line. You want some stats, here you go: Rockets have lost 12 straight games. They’ve lost by double digits in 5 straight games. Rockets are 1-6 ATS as a home underdog. Oh, and did I mention that this is Harden’s first game back in Houston. I expect some fireworks tonight. I don’t know what to expect from Harden, but I like a player performance double that is double double and a Nets Win which is -178.

8:10 PM: Hornets (-0.5) at Timberwolves, O/U: 229.5

Pick: Over 229.5

We have been banking hard on the Hornets road games. Key is to take the over every night so we are back for more. On the road, the over is 13-4 for Charlotte this season. The Hornets are playing faster than almost anyone in the league, and the Timberwolves can’t stop a nosebleed. Heck, neither team can. We take the over again. Last time these two teams played they combined for 234, and that was prior to the head coaching change that has made the Timberwolves play faster and through KAT.

Those are my NBA Best player props and spreads for Wednesday, March 3rd.  Here’s to hoping we bank together.
