NBA Best Bets Season Record: 187-152

The NBA is back! We have 3-4 months of basketball ahead of us. Let’s make some money!

Jimmy Butler Over 39.5 PRAs (-113) vs. Magic

Here were Butler’s stat lines the 3 games before the ASB: 29 3 and 9, 33 10 and 8, 27 8 and 10. Unreal play from Jimmy, and now Adebayo is out tonight. Ball will be in his hands even more, plus it’s against the Magic who are terrible. If you’ve never watched the Magic play, first off, lucky for you, secondly, James Ennis/Dwayne Bacon/all Magic wing players love to foul and none better at drawing fouls than Jimmy Butler. Lock in the over.

Deandre Ayton Over 16.5 Points (-106) vs. Blazers

We are not the biggest Ayton fans over here. Love his skillset but usually stay away from his props. But, tonight, it is too good to pass up. A matchup against Enes Kanter and the Blazers is exactly why. Ayton has hit this over in 3 of 4, and 4 of his last 6 games. He’s shooting it very efficiently, and that included a 19 point game against the Blazers… a game that the Suns won by 32 points. He should be able to score at will against this porous Blazers defense.

Norm Powell Over 24.5 Points (-120) vs. Hawks

Norm has 25+ in 3 straight including 2 30 point games. Hawks aren’t known for their defense. Look to him to continue his scoring prowess with VanVleet and Siakam still sidelined. This should be a very high scoring game, as you will see below.

7:10 PM EST: Pistons at Hornets (-5.5), O/U: 221.5

Pick: Hornets-5.5

Detroit are 0-6 SU in their last 6 games when playing on the road against Charlotte and Detroit are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games against Charlotte. Hornets might get Devonte Graham back, but they are rested and ready to push for a playoff spot. They start it with a big victory at home against Detroit.

7:40 PM EST: Hawks (-1.5) at Raptors, O/U: 227

Pick: Over 227

The total has gone over in 4 of Toronto’s last 5 games against Atlanta. The Raptors play faster without Siakam and VanVleet and then you have the Hawks who are almost as fast as it gets and they get to the free throw line plenty. We take the over tonight.

8:10 PM EST: Knicks at Bucks (-10.5), O/U: 223

Pick: Under 223

The total has gone under in 7 of New York’s last 8 games on the road. Useless Stat of the Day: The total has gone under in 5 of Milwaukee’s last 6 games played on a Thursday. Sure, these teams combined for 240 points last time they played in a 20 point Knicks victory. If the Knicks shoot 16/27 from 3 again then so be it because that’s what it would take to hit this over.

Hornets ML, Heat ML, Suns ML and Bucks ML (+295)

Might want to hold off here until Booker is confirmed to play, but the Suns should be able to handle the Trail Blazers easily even though it is on the road.

Norm Powell 30+ points (+220)

Harden TD (+200)

Tobias Harris 30+ Points (+235)
