NBA Best Bets Season Record: 207-167 (+30.1 units)

We have 3-4 months of basketball ahead of us. Let’s make some money! Plus our Parlay of the Day which is 3-2 on the year. Let’s make that 4-2!

Ben Simmons Over 34.5 PRAs

Sure, we’ve been hurt down this path before, but if there’s something I’ve learned in life, it’s to never give up. The Knicks should *cross our fingers* keep this game close and that’ll give Simmons enough time to hit this over. There should be plenty of rebounds and assist opportunities for Simmons with the ball in his hands all night. Like we said previously, he’s averaging almost 20 PPG, 8 rebounds and 7 assists with Embiid out.

Zion Williamson Over 26.5 Points

What did Zion do to Vegas to have them set this line so low? What do the know? I won’t tolerate the disrespect. Zion dropped 36 points on this Blazers team a couple nights ago, and he will do it again tonight. The Blazers have no rim protection and that’s never a good recipe against Williamson. Williamson has cashed this over in 6 of 9. 2 of those games were blowouts where he didn’t see his normal minutes yet still got 23 and 24 points. We ride Zion tonight *pause* moving on.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 26.5 Points

At the beginning of the year, I would’ve saved you’ve lost your mind betting a line this high for SGA, but he’s on fire. 30+ points in 3 straight games. He’s carrying the OKC Thunder and keeping them in games. This Bulls team isn’t great defensively and SGA should be able to have his way. He did have 33 points in their last matchup back in January. Oh did I mention that the Thunder are down over half their roster. We will get into that in a moment.

Heat-10 vs. Cavs

The Heat have officially kicked it into gear and while it might be too late for Jimmy Butler to put his name in the MVP race, he has still been playing exceptionally well lately. He has the Heat winners of 10 of their last 11 games. We take this bet and the large cover for one reason, and one reason only: the Cavaliers are terrible ATS as road underdogs. 5-13 ATS to be exact. Is that bad? Well it’s not good. We take the ‘hot’ (no pun intended) Heat to win big.

Bulls vs. Thunder Over 223.5

You already know I am in on SGA’s over, but now I’m coming back for the game’s over. The last time these two teams matched up, they combined for 252 points. Recently, we’ve been on a trend of picking the opposite of a previous matchup but not tonight. Take a second out of your day to look at the Thunder’s injuries: deep breath: Al Horford (out rest), Trevor Ariza out, George Hill out, Svi Mykhailiuk (coach’s decision), Darius Bazley out, Theo Maledon, Josh Hall and Luguentz Dort all GTD and Questionable. That was a mouthful, but what I am saying is that the Thunder will have a lot of backups in which usually means more fouling and more free throws. Great recipe for the over, which is why we lean that way tonight.

Portland-1 vs. Pelicans

Ah, the Pelicans return but this time in their ‘bad form’. They are no longer in the Bayou where they thrive and are the best team in the NBA when listed as home underdogs. Unfortunately, tonight they find themselves in Portland where they just lost a couple weeks ago, not to mention that the Pelicans are 5-12 on the road this season, and Portland is 11-7 at home, plus CJ McCollum returns tonight. In a pick em, we will be taking Portland. Portland is also 14-7 straight up as a favorite. They want to welcome CJ back with a W in the Moda Center.

Parlay of the Day:

Record: 3-2 (+8.35 units)

Heat-4.5, Blazers-1, Bulls/Thunder Over 223.5

Longshot Parlay of the Day:

SGA 30+ Points, Zion 30+ points, Heat-14.5

Those are my NBA Best player props and spreads for Tuesday, March 16th.  Here’s to hoping we bank together.
