Let’s get into my NBA Best Prop Bets and Spreads of the Day!
NBA Best Bets Season Record: 224-180-1 (+35.6 units)
21-10-1 run over the last 4 days. Let’s stay hot!
Luka Doncic Over 49.5 PRAs vs. Blazers
Doncic has been on an absolute tear recently and to prove that, look at these PRA lines in his last 3 games: 56 (against Portland on Friday), 57, and 51. The matchup against the Blazers is about as good as it gets. Luka is averaging 41 points per game against the Blazers, and averaging 58 PRAs against them. In what should be another close, high scoring game against Portland, Luka should cruise to his overs across the board. Lock him in.
Nikola Jokic Over 45.5 PRAs vs. Pelicans
Jokic wants this MVP award and he’s been playing like the MVP, especially lately. The matchup against the Pelicans is very appealing. The Pelicans don’t have anyone that can matchup with his skillset, or defend him in the post. Sure, Steven Adams is strong, but he’s not accustomed to going outside of the paint so Jokic should get some open threes. Here’s Jokic’s PRA line this month: 58, 32 (blowout), 51, 45, 50, 40, 58, 62. He’s averaging over 30 PPG this month. Lock in the Joker.
Russell Westbrook Over 46.5 PRAs vs. Nets
Westbrook has been playing out of his mind recently, and now he gets a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The highest projected score on the night, and it will live up to those expectations. The last time these two teams played, Westbrook dropped 41 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Typically, I would do Westbrook’s Rebounds+Assists line but I am changing it up tonight. Westbrook has scored 25+ points in 3 of his past 4 games and he will be able to drive and score at will tonight against this porous Nets defense. These are his PRA numbers in the last 4 games: 63, 50, 45, and 64. Expect another big game from Brodie.
Celtics (-8.5) vs. Magic
I promised myself I wouldn’t bet on the Boston Celtics another day in my life, but yet here I am. This is an absolute must-win game. You can’t be losing to the Magic at home and expect to make the playoffs, let alone compete for an NBA championship. Boston is 10-4 as a home favorite this year, which is where they find themselves today. Sure, you could look at the Orlando Magic and say “they just beat the Brooklyn Nets” and you might have an argument, but that took a career game from Aaron Gordon and the rest of the squad. The Celtics win big at home, because to be honest, they have to.
Nets vs. Wizards Over 245.5
Make this number whatever you want, I will take it. 260? Sure, I’m in. The last last time these two teams played was back on January 31st and the final score was 149 to 146. Yes, you heard that right. Now, you’re probably thinking, “wow. How many overtimes did they go to?”. The answer would be zero. That was the score in regulation and that is why we are all over the over today. I don’t need anymore numbers. These teams play fast and play no defense, just take the over and don’t think twice.
Knicks/Sixers Under 215
The exact opposite of the game above. These teams play slow, don’t score a lot of points, and they play great defense. Just playing on March 16th, these teams combined for 195 points. No reason for the over/under to be this high for two teams that struggle to score points (especially without Joel Embiid). It is worth noting that Ben Simmons (I believe) is undefeated against the Knicks in his career (13-0 I think), and thus the Sixers have dominated the Knicks over the recent years. Either way, we are taking the under and not thinking twice.
Bulls-3 vs. Pistons
A bonus play for today, the Bulls have been losing some back breaking games recently. If the games would just end after the 3rd quarter, they’d be fine. Regardless, the Bulls are 13-4 ATS on the road this season, and tonight they play the Pistons who have played better of late. I still think the Bulls are the better team and they should be able to get the win on the road tonight.
Parlay of the Day:
Record: 4-5 (+8.45 units)
Over in Nets/Wizards, Celtics ML, Russell Westbrook PRAs +364
Longshot Parlay of the Day:
Record: 1-7 (+1.3 units)
Russell Westbrook, Luka Doncic, & Nikola Jokic Triple Double +2751
For my DFS fans out there, this is the lineup I will be rocking:
Russell Westbrook, Luka Doncic, Alec Burks, Josh Jackson, Rui Hachimura, Joe Harris, Kyle Kuzma, Robert Covington, Montrezl Harrell
