Let’s get into my NBA Best Prop Bets and Spreads of the Day!
NBA Best Prop Bets Record: 365-312-1 (+37.3 units)
MLB Best Bets Record: 88-75-1 (+4.9 units)
Here is today’s slate!
We have to be better. Four straight losing nights, but I like today’s slate. Let’s get after it. Can’t be worse than yesterday….right?
Jaylen Brown Over 34.5 PRAs
Jaylen Brown is playing motivated. After yelling at his teammates for not showing enough effort against OKC, he has backed it up. Two straight games with 38+ points, he is shooting the ball more which is what we need. Kemba Walker is unlikely to play today, which is even better for us. Last time these two teams played back in January in a game with Kemba Walker, Jaylen had 33 PRAs. I think he gets over the hump tonight in what should be a close game at home in Boston vs. San Antonio.
Tyrese Haliburton Over 7.5 Assists
Ever since Fox has been out, Haliburton has stepped up and ran this team. Have they been good without Fox? Absolutely not. We saw that with the game they put up against Utah but even though that game was over very quickly, Tyrese still played 30 minutes. Looking at the 3 gams since Fox went down, Haliburton has had 8+ assists in all 3 games. Over their last 7 games, the Lakers are giving up over 10 assists per game to opposing point guards. Luka, Russell Westbrook and Joe Ingles have all had 13+ assists just recently against this team, and I think Tyrese is the next one added to the list. We are taking it and running with it.
Rudy Gobert Over 27.5 Pts+Rebs
Rudy Gobert has been bad recently, statistically speaking, and you know who else has been bad, me. I have been giving out losers so fade if you want but myself and Rudy Gobert are bouncing back tonight and here’s why. Deandre Ayton, you’re straight trash. He just let Ivica Zubac get 21 Pts+Rebs. Come on man. I know Rudy Gobert doesn’t hit this over consistently, but in his career against Ayton, he averages 18 points and 13.7 rebounds across 6 games. And he has hit this over in 5 of those 6 games. I am ready to get hurt Rudy Gobert. I won’t even be mad, just disappointed.
Dejounte Murray Over 12.5 Rebs+Asts
Murray is fresh off his 4th career triple double against Miami. Game before that, he had 17 rebounds and 5 assists. He now gets a matchup against the Celtics that doesn’t scare me. The main reason we are here though is because of his consistency in games without Derrick White. White will be out for the season, and Murray has cashed this line in 5 of the last 6 games, the one miss being when he landed on 12. He is playing big time minutes as the Spurs try to fight for a playoff spot. The Celtics are giving up the 7th most rebounds per game to opposing point guards at over 7.5 per game. We have seen guards like Chris Paul and Kyrie Irving each push the 10 rebound number despite not being known as a great rebounding guard like Murray. I am riding it tonight.
Blazers+1 vs. Nets
I have been hurt by the Blazers in the past and wouldn’t be surprised if they hurt me again in this spot. The Nets should be without Harden (obviously) and likely Kevin Durant (on a back to back), and Irving is still questionable but I think he plays. The Blazers, after stinking up the joint, have put together back to back blowouts. They are 18-12 ATS as an away team and I think Damian Lillard and the crew come out and try to win this game big today. The Nets did get the best of the Blazers earlier this season and that was just with James Harden, but the Blazers are hot and I am riding with them (only if Durant is out thought. With Durant active, I am out).
Jazz/Suns Over 225.5
Both teams shoot a ton of 3’s and play very fast. Ranking 3rd and 7th in Offensive Rating, they are both two very skilled offenses that move the ball well. I just saw the Jazz shoot lights out and score 150 points in regulation, yes 150, against the Sacramento Kings, which is just a normal game to the Kings. Teams played earlier this season and combined for 230, and that was on a 25% 3 point shooting night from the Jazz. I expect them to approach that again tonight.
