Let’s get into my NBA Best Prop Bets and Spreads of the Day!

NBA Best Prop Bets Record: 384-336-1 (+31.4 units)

MLB Best Bets Record: 111-82-2 (+19.5 units)

Here is today’s slate!

Nikola Jokic Over 25.5 Points vs. Jazz (-105)

The future MVP has turned it on over the past week or two. Is it because the Nuggets keep having more and more injuries so he has no choice to be more aggressive? Probably, but we can’t deny his excellence. He has had 30+ points in 3 straight games, and in 4 of his past 5. It’s truthfully him and Michael Porter Jr. vs. the world, and teams have keyed in more on MPJ, so it’s really just Jokic going to town. The 30 points are great recently, but that’s not why we are here. Enter Rudy Gobert. I don’t know what it is about Gobert, but Jokic wakes up in the morning and chooses destruction. Go check out Jokic’s gamelog vs. Gobert if you don’t believe me, but here’s his last 6 games vs. Utah: 47 points, 35, 30, 30, 28 points. You see where I am going with this. I am not afraid of Gobert. He’s no match for the craftiness and footwork of a player like Jokic. Tonight I am riding with the Joker. Let’s get it done.

Devin Booker Over 26.5 Points vs. Knicks (-116)

In his career, Devin Booker has feasted against my New York Knicks. Averaging nearly 29 PPG over his 11 career contests, but recently, he has been even better than that. For starters, these teams did just play on April 26th and D-Book dropped 33 points on em in the Garden. But that’s not where it stops. Past 5 games vs. the Knicks: 33, 29, 38, 41, 38. It’s been miserable to see him destroy us each time but I expect it to continue tonight. He’s been picking and choosing his spots and taking and making a great percentage of his shots. He has scored 30+ points in 4 straight games, 6 out of his past 7. Tonight, he should be able to keep that streak going against a Knicks team trying to bounce back after a terrible game against the Nuggets. Regardless of outcome, the Knicks will have their hands full with D Book tonight. Locking in the over.

Zion Williamson Over 40.5 PRAs vs. Sixers (-104)

Zion Williamson decimated the Sixers the last time these teams played to the tune of 37 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. That game did involved Brandon Ingram whereas tonight he will be out, but that doesn’t concern me. The only thing that does is blowout concerns but I hope the Pelicans can keep this one close enough. He has hit this in 4 straight games, and against Philly, he should be able to do this again. I know Ben Simmons is a great defender, and so is Tobias Harris and maybe Joel Embiid, but all 3 of those guys played last time when Zion dropped 37 so explain that to me. All Zion needs is a simple screen, get him going downhill with a full head of steam and it is a GG. It helps that Zion is one of my favorite players and I am rooting for him to succeed. The Pelicans need to stay in this game and try to win it. They are fighting for playoff positioning and Zion knows that. It should be the Zion and Lonzo show all night, just keep it close boys.

Mavericks-10.5 vs. Cavaliers

I am not one to pick a lot of spreads but I do like this one tonight. Luka Doncic has only played the Cavaliers 3 times in his career, all double digits wins covering this spread. But when you look at the matchup, the Mavericks are the much better team. They have a lot more scoring options in Luka, Tim Hardaway Jr, Brunson, Richardson etc. The Cavaliers, all they really got is Collin Sexton and that’s it. The last 20 matchups between these teams (granted in 2019), were 20+ point victories. The Cavaliers have lost 4 straight games by 16+ points, and 8 games straight overall. They are a bad team missing one of their best players in Darius Garland. By me picking this, I am asking to get backdoor covered or the Cavaliers to win outright, and while that could happen, it’s the NBA, the Mavericks are also just as likely to open a can up on this Cavs team. Mavs vs. Cavs. Battle of the Avs, and I am rocking with the Mavs to win and cover in a big way.

Bucks-16.5 vs. Rockets

I can go to sleep happy at night betting the Bucks spread to night. Is it a lot of points? Yes. Did the Rockets just beat the Bucks outright? Also yes. But you have to look at what the Rockets are playing with tonight, and it’s not good. The only reason they beat the Bucks is because of a Kevin Porter Jr. 50 piece. Guess what? Those 50 points are missing tonight. Christian Wood, also likely out. Kelly Olynk might even be out. The Rockets have 13 players on the injury report. They might not even have enough to do a full roster, and this is why I am taking the Bucks. I could be scared about a backdoor cover but the Rockets legs will be tired given they won’t have more than 8 players tonight, if that. The Rockets are ready for the season to end and the Bucks are going to take out the trash tonight. Take the Bucks with confidence.

Jarrett Allen Under 24.5 Points+Rebounds (-115)

Speaking of taking out the trash, I am here to collect Mr. Jarrett Allen. No disrespect to him but every time that I have touched one of his overs, the buddy does nothing, and that’s what brings me here. I picked his under a couple nights ago and he hit it his over by 0.5, and that’s fine. He still had only hit this over in 3 of his last 11 games so maybe I just take it every night and I am more successful. In his career against the Mavericks, albeit all 5 games in Brooklyn, he did not even break 15 Points+Rebounds and he often saw 25+ minutes in those game. I am taking the under, so you should probably take the over. Dwight Powell and Willie Cauley-Stein should be able to keep the Fro under control with their defense. I am locking it in and if the over hits, I will retire from betting on the Fro ever again.
