Let’s get into my NBA Best Prop Bets and Spreads of the Day!

NBA Best Prop Bets Record: 407-355-1 (+31.4 units)

MLB Best Bets Record: 135-98-3 (+26.6 units)

Here is today’s slate!

Russell Westbrook Under 12.5 Rebounds (-115)

This is one of the only games where the Wizards need to win. Need might be a strong word as they just have to win 1 of their last 2 games to lock in the 10th seed at worst. But with that being said, this is still the Cavaliers. Is it a risk taking any Westbrook under? Absolutely but this is the one I settled on. Could he still go off and have a big game? Yes, but he has struggled to hit this line against the Cavaliers in his past. Earlier this season, he had 12 rebounds in one game, and then 5 in the other matchup. In his entire career, he has hit the over just 1 time in his 22 career matchups vs. Cleveland.

On the season, Cleveland gives up the 5th fewest rebounds per game to opposing point guards at just 5.84 per game. This game could be a blowout as what do the Cavaliers have to play for. A lot of things have to go right for this to hit the over. Only one thing has to go wrong and Russell won’t hit this over. Last game against Atlanta, he only had 5 rebounds. He doesn’t need to chase for more and more triple doubles, he has already broken the record.

I am taking the under for not much money, as today’s slate couldn’t be worse.

Ja Morant Under 19.5 Points (-106)

I would not be surprised if he does not play today or he plays very little, but this game means nothing. The Warriors and Grizzlies have the same record and are 1-1 against each other this year. These teams also play on Sunday, when that game will determine the 8th seed.

There’s no reason to try and win today against the Kings. Play Ja Morant a little bit, keep his legs warm, but no reason to run him into the ground. Also for what it’s worth, Morant just scored 12 points against them on Thursday night, and 16 earlier this season. He’s only hit this over in 2 of 6 career matchups against Sacramento.

Last but not least, he has scored 20 points in just 25 of his 62 games this season, a solid 40.3%. Maybe I will consider the over on Sunday, but today, the under is a no brainer. Like I said, he might not even play today when it’s all said and done.

Warriors Team Total Under 119.5 (-145)

If you get a line for this game, I would probably take the under. Similar analysis to above, the Warriors have nothing to play for and Steph Curry will likely not play, no reason to. The Warriors have struggled to score without him. Sure, this is juiced at -145 on BetMGM, but I’ll take it.

The Warriors have played 8 games this season without Stephen Curry, the most points they have scored in a game was 119 against the Sacramento Kings. Their other point totals 77, 108, 98, 103, 116, 98, 100. Now you see what I am saying. I don’t have much more analysis than that. This is all purely hypothetical and me guessing what’s going to happen at 6AM in the morning. Placing a bet now is taking a risk, but it always is like that. I would not be surprised to see this O/U plummet if/when these players are announced in or out.

Thunder Team Total Under 104.5 Points (-120)

The Thunder have broken 100 points just once in their last 5 games, and that was last game when they scored 65 points in the first half and still only managed 106. You look at a Jazz team that needs this win to lock up the #1 seed, so I don’t expect them to rest much of anyone. They will want to stifle the Thunder so they can still get their players some rest throughout the game so the defensive intensity will be there.

The last time these two teams faced, Thunder had a big 96 points. I like the under tonight for the Thunder, this is a bet we have used and abused this season, why not get in another one for ol times sake.

Mavericks-13.5 vs. Raptors

I am pretty confident I could pick up 4 guys at the park and be competitive against what the Toronto Raptors are throwing out on the court these days. Okay, sure, maybe not, but they are not good. Obviously, no Siakam, Vanvleet, Lowry, Boucher, Anunoby. They are starting Khem Birch (ew), Stanley Johnson (who had a career game), Malachi Flynn, Jalen Harris and Deandre Bembry. Ew. No thanks.

You look at the Mavericks, this is a must win game. The Mavericks not only want to get their players rest, they also want to lock up the 5 seed cause I guarantee you they much rather play the Denver Nuggets than the Los Angeles Clippers. No disrespect to the Nuggets, but they are banged up and seem like an easier opponent than a healthy Clippers who beat them in the playoffs in the Bubble last year. And if for some reason they rest their starters some minutes, I am confident the Mavericks bench is still better than what the Raptors are trotting out there.

Also, Toronto has lost 5 straight games. Just let them go on vacation already. They are tanking for Cade, or whoever they want, they won’t try today.
